Spring is on its way, it won’t be long now!
South Bay’s Tuesday morning sketchers will head outdoors once school lets out, to paint in various locations in the area- as a result of last year’s season, there is an exhibit on now, thru the end of March, at the Blue Point Library on Blue Point Avenue- curated by our own Kathy Wayman, it also includes collages done in Lester Sprague’s workshop.
The April Meeting on 4/22 will have a presentation on getting ready to go out en plein air, by renowned artist Larry Johnston. Larry will talk about the equipment he uses to go out into the neighborhood and capture the essence of the coastal landscapes. Looking forward to that one!
